Parenting definitely does not come with a how-to manual! In an ever-changing world environment filled
with technological advances and constant changes to our social fibre, there are challenges that have an
impact on the upbringing and development of future generations.
We understand that parents are faced with the insurmountable demands of everyday life, but we
somehow manage to overcome those challenges. The negative impact of keeping up with overcoming
these challenges is that we sometimes lose sight and touch with our children.
The Father and Child Fun Day afford parents and their children the opportunity to connect, socialise and
have fun by participating in recreational activities in a conducive environment. Let’s face it all the most
important contribution to our children is our time, attention, support and love.
